May 1, 2021 - Essex RVs fly to Cambridge

We now have four fully operational RVs at Essex Skypark.  A fifth -- an RV-4 is currently torn apart to have its paint stripped and then be repainted.  Plus there are two RV-12.

Anyways,  the four of us -- myself in the RV-7, Brian in an RV-8, Mark in a brand spanking new RV-8, and Chuck in a new used RV-7A -- were standing around Saturday afternoon and decided to go flying.  When in doubt, head for Cambridge where the food at Kay's At The Airport is always good.

After a short flight, here we are parked on the ramp at Cambridge.

After a delicious lunch, we taxi for takeoff.

Safe on deck at Essex.  On downwind, I spotted Paul in his stealth SuperCub so we had a little fun over the Bay before coming into land.

While we were standing around on the ramp, Charlie arrived in the pattern and landed in this newly acquired -- by someone else -- Stinson.  So of course we all had to check it out.

A close-up.  The cowl needs a little work but that dent should just buff out easily.
